Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Client Account Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead environmental compliance client relationships and drive revenue growth from a strong existing book of business. This hybrid role supports multiple Western Region markets, with travel to client sites as needed.

You will negotiate contracts, present proposals, and collaborate across teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions while staying current on regulations and providing strategic guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience managing client accounts and driving business development in environmental compliance.
• Travel 25-50% is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental compliance services.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.
• Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.
• Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.
• Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.
• Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.
