AECOM in Houston, TX, is seeking an Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join our EHS + Air practice. This hybrid role supports federal, municipal, and private clients with regulatory compliance needs across multiple media.

You will lead projects from proposal through execution, mentor junior staff, and contribute to growing the environmental compliance business through solid client relationships and smart cost proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-media environmental regulatory compliance (e.g., CWA, RCRA, CAA) and its application.
• Experience managing clients and supporting EHS business development, including proposals and cost estimates.
• Experience managing all aspects of the project from proposal through execution to close, including financial and contract management.
• Ability to independently manage environmental compliance projects.
• Ability to mentor junior environmental professionals to execute various compliance projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and executing environmental compliance, auditing, and due diligence projects for clients in the consulting industry.
• Supporting EHS business development efforts, including preparation of technical and cost proposals, to grow our environmental compliance work with existing and new clients.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients to enhance client retentions and growth.
• Mentoring junior staff and leading project teams for environmental compliance work.
• Contributing to meeting the practice’s financial goals.
