Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for the Wet Chemistry department. You will perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing lab, ensuring the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field, and the ability to work in a lab environment with proper PPE. Training is provided where needed, and growth within the company is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees (or equivalent).
• Willingness to receive training where needed.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods to detect contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results clearly in laboratory records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
