Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Scientist I for the evening shift to perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing laboratory. You will work with instruments like GC, HPLC, and ICP to analyze air, water, and soil samples and ensure data integrity.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field; training is provided. Candidates should be comfortable working in a lab, standing for long periods, and using PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related STEM field; training provided.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and using PPE.
• Experience with environmental sample analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments including GC, HPLC, and ICP.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Review and interpret results; document procedures and observations.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
