Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for our Wet Chemistry department to perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples and ensure data quality used to protect communities and ecosystems.

In this role, you will review results, document procedures, maintain instruments, and operate in a standard lab setting with PPE. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field is required; Pace provides training where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results in lab records.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
