Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist for our Wet Chemistry department. You will conduct hands-on analysis of environmental samples in our laboratory, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data that inform environmental health decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field, and the ability to work in a lab environment with PPE. We offer training and a path for career growth within Pace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods and wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants.
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis.
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
