Job summary

Pace Analytical Services seeks a Scientist in our Wet Chemistry department to perform hands-on analysis of environmental samples in our testing laboratory. You will contribute to the integrity and quality of environmental data affecting ecosystems and communities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related STEM field, ability to work in a lab, and adherence to PPE guidelines; training is provided. Join Pace to advance important environmental science work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM related degrees (or equivalent) with training provided.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and follow PPE requirements (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves)
• Commitment to safety, quality, and accurate data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental samples using established chemistry methods to detect contaminants.
• Review and interpret results from sample analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, and results with high quality records.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
