Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 years of customer service experience and/or combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete the designated claims professional training program.
• Adjust workers’ compensation claims under supervision, processing mail, emails and related documents.
• Communicate with injured workers, insureds/employers, medical providers, attorneys and carriers via phone, video and email.
• Investigate claims with medical records, reports and witness statements to determine coverage and benefits.
• Document claim activity, prepare reports, and administer indemnity and medical benefits with state compliance.
