Sedgwick is seeking entry-level Claims Representative IAP in West Hills, CA, starting with a four-week training program to learn investigations and settlements. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 years of customer service experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete designated training program.
• Assist with adjusting workers' compensation claims under supervision.
• Process mail, emails and claim documents; communicate with workers, insureds, medical providers and employers.
• Investigate claims by gathering medical records, reports and statements.
• Determine coverage and benefits per guidelines; document activity and outcomes.
• Maintain claim calendars and administer benefits; participate in meetings and reviews.
