Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Attendance and completion of designated claims professional training program.
• Adjusting workers’ compensation claims under supervision; process mail, emails and documents.
• Communicate with injured workers, insureds/employers, medical providers, attorneys and carriers.
• Investigate claims by gathering medical records, reports, statements.
• Determine coverage, compensability and benefits per guidelines.
• Document claim activity and prepare detailed reports.
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits and ensure state compliance.
• Participate in meetings, reviews, and educational activities.
