Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attendance and completion of designated claims professional training program.
• Adjusting various levels of workers’ compensation claims under close supervision, including processing mail, emails and related documents.
• Communicate with injured workers, insureds/employers, medical providers, attorneys and carriers via phone, video, and email.
• Investigate claims by gathering medical records, employer reports, and witness statements; assess coverage and benefits.
• Document claims files, code activity, and prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Administer indemnity and medical benefits while ensuring state compliance; participate in meetings as needed.
