Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I in Ohio to safely perform intake, sorting, and processing of waste materials. The role requires basic mechanical understanding and the ability to operate a range of equipment while adhering to safety and permit requirements.

Responsibilities include loading materials into processing systems, inventory tracking, and maintaining a clean facility. Candidates should meet DOT/OSHA/HAZWOPER training and possess a high school diploma, with strong

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Possess 8-hour DOT Certification Training (Or ability to complete).
• Possess 10-hour OSHA Training (Or ability to complete).
• Possess 8-hour HAZWOPER Training (Or ability to complete).
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and time management.
• Must be computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
• Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.
• Administratively process inbound material / inventory using inventory tracking software and handheld scanners.
• Able to off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• De-pack materials from original manufacturers packaging and sorting contents for disposal according to disposal plan.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
