Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is hiring a Waste Process Technician I for the 3rd shift (10pm–6:30am) to safely perform essential waste processing tasks. The role includes off-loading inbound trucks, QA/QC, container verification, data entry, sampling, and operating shredding and loading equipment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ year experience, and the ability to pass a respirator fit test.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in waste processing or similar.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
• Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within the facility boundaries.
• Able to off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• Waste stream QA/QC & Lab analysis associated with receiving and shipping waste and material.
• Complete and submit all facility associated paperwork related to regulatory and safety record keeping.
