Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Processing Technician I to safely perform core duties on inbound trucks, verify container counts, sample waste, and process materials through shredding operations. You will operate heavy equipment including forklifts and related tools in a safety-conscious environment.

You will join a team dedicated to sustainable waste solutions and must have a High School diploma, 1+ year shipping/receiving experience, forklift experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED preferred; GED Works program offered.
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving like environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• A Valid Driver's License is required.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or per vendor specs.
• General housekeeping and maintenance of the area.
• Loading/Unloading of van trailers and/or flat beds.
• Interact with plant personnel to determine local needs.
