Job summary

Reworld in Avon Lake, OH is seeking a Waste Process Technician I to safely move inbound trucks, verify container counts, run material through shredding operations, and assign inventory data for waste processing. The role requires basic mechanical understanding and adherence to safety and permit requirements.

Candidates must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license and computer proficiency; DOT/OSHA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Must be computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts per policies and OSHA requirements.
• Move, operate, and back in a yard dog tractor.
• Administratively process inbound material / inventory using inventory tracking software and scanners.
• Offload inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• De-pack materials from packaging and sort contents for disposal.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
