Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is hiring an entry-level Waste Process Technician I in Avon Lake, OH to safely move and process inbound waste streams. You’ll operate tools and equipment, manage inventory data, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

The role emphasizes attentiveness, timely task completion, and clear communication with the team. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, a valid license, and are prepared for DOT/OSHA training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Must be computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts per policies and OSHA.
• Move, operate, and back in a yard dog tractor.
• Process inbound material using inventory tracking software and handheld scanners.
• Unload inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Depack materials and sort contents for disposal per plan.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
