Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based in Madison, WI, with relocation assistance provided. You will lead in‑person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, acting as the primary contact to ensure a smooth transition to Epic and improved patient outcomes.

You will handle instructional design, materials creation, and delivery, working within small teams to tailor workflow‑based content and collaborate with organizations to make the software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major)
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
• A history of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID‑19 vaccination

Responsibilities

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery.
