Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our Madison, WI campus with relocation support. You will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, serving as the first point of contact to shape their experience as they transition to Epic.

You’ll be involved in the full training process—from instructional design to development of training materials and delivery—working with teams to design workflow-based content and improve usability of our software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.
