Job summary

Epic in Madison, WI is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, acting as the first contact and shaping their experience as they transition to Epic. You’ll design and deliver training materials, scenarios, and delivery, working with teams to create workflow-based content and collaborate with client organizations.

Travel will be 25–60% with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.
