Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in‑person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, while guiding staff through Epic transitions. You will design training materials and scenarios, deliver sessions, and work in close teams to create workflow‑based content that makes the software easier to use.

The role involves travel 25–60% of days, relocation to Madison, WI area with reimbursement, and vaccination requirements. You will be the primary contact and help staff save lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with 1–2 trips per month lasting 2–4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.

• A history of academic and professional success
