Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer based on our campus in Madison, WI, with relocation provided. You’ll lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, guiding them through Epic to improve patient care.

You’ll design instructional materials, collaborate with healthcare organizations, and work in tight-knit teams to create workflow-based training content that makes our software more intuitive for staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater; any major.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID‑19 vaccination.

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major)
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
• A history of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID‑19 vaccination
