Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, and to be the first point of contact for staff as they transition to Epic.

You will design, develop and deliver training content, collaborate with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive across teams and workflows. This role requires travel and relocation support in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in any field.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days with 2–4 day trips.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Job description

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.

You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or greater (any major)
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred
• A history of academic and professional success
• Willingness to travel 25–60% of working days, with a typical month including 1–2 trips lasting 2–4 days
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• COVID‑19 vaccination
