Epic seeks a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff, serving as the first point of contact as they transition to Epic. The role includes instructional design, material development, and delivery, with collaboration on workflow-based content to improve software usability.
The position requires relocation to Madison, WI, with travel up to 25–60% of working days and reimbursement of relocation costs.
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
As a Trainer you’ll lead in‑person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users in addition to our own staff. You will be the first point of contact for many staff and users, shaping their experience as they transition to Epic and helping them save lives.
You will be involved in the training process from start to finish—instructional design, development of training materials and scenarios, and delivery. Outside the classroom, trainers work in tight‑knit teams to design workflow‑based training content, collaborate directly with organizations, and help make our software more intuitive.
Do you enjoy or have experience performing on stage, in a classroom, or as a tour guide? This could be the position for you.
