Job summary

Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs seeks a Technology Support Specialist I to join the IT Service Desk. This entry-level role handles end-user requests, triage, and basic troubleshooting for Apple and Windows environments, telephony, and email services.

You will work with senior staff to configure desktops and devices, enter tickets, and follow IT policies while developing skills for higher-grade positions. 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Information Systems or related field required; bachelor’s preferred; significant experience may substitute.
1–2 years in Apple OS/iOS hardware and Windows-based systems.
Experience with end-user support, ticketing, and basic network concepts.

Responsibilities

Serve as a point of contact for IT services via phone or email.
Record incidents in the Service Desk system and prioritize by impact.
Troubleshoot end-user issues on Intel and Apple devices and MS/Apple software.
Assist in configuring desktops, laptops, and devices; provide user training as needed.
Escalate unresolved issues with detailed information to higher levels.
Adhere to IT policies and incident/problem/release/change management processes.
