The position is entry-level, with opportunities to grow skills in Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak, and Revit while contributing to residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree in survey, geography, architecture or civil engineering is preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior surveying experience required, though any CAD experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and subdivision work.
• Familiarity with land surveying software such as Carlson, Inroads/Geopak, Revit or similar civil design tools.
• Ability to learn, follow procedures, and work under supervision with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Convert information into electronically generated drawings and project documents with accuracy and speed.
• Perform horizontal computations for boundary surveys and locate records.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Check plats for completeness and accuracy before review submission.
• Learn ALTA and topographic surveying practices and apply them to projects.
