Job summary

City Year is seeking an entry-level, full-time Student success coach and mentor as part of the AmeriCorps program. You will coach and mentor students, support teachers, and help improve attendance and academics across classrooms.

No prior experience required; we provide 2–4 weeks of training at the start of the year and ongoing support. This role includes a bi-weekly living stipend and AmeriCorps benefits.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor elementary, middle and/or high school students to support academic success and attendance.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and collaborate with teachers on in-class activities.
• Provide a safe, engaging classroom environment and support school initiatives.
