City Year is hiring an entry-level, paid full-time Student Success Coach and Mentor as part of the AmeriCorps program. You'll coach and mentor students, support classrooms and school-wide initiatives, and work closely with teachers to improve attendance and academic outcomes.

City Year AmeriCorps members participate in training, serve in schools, and receive stipends and benefits while making a positive impact on students and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching and mentoring students is a plus.
• Ability to monitor student progress and work with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor students to improve academics and attendance.
• Plan and monitor individual student progress with teachers.
• Support literacy and math activities tailored to student levels.
• Create a positive, safe classroom space with teachers.
• Assist with after-school and enrichment programs.
