Job summary

TYLin Buildings is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer in Rochester, NY to contribute to the design and analysis of a wide range of building projects. You will collaborate with the project team from concept through construction, assisting with drawings, specifications, and site investigations.

The role favors candidates with a Civil/Architectural Engineering degree, an EIT or equivalent, and up to 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering required.
• EIT exam preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure and analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with project team to design and analyze structures for buildings.
• Assist in preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field reviews for projects under construction.
