Job summary

TYLin Buildings in New York City is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our NYC office. The role involves structural design and analysis for a range of buildings, with responsibilities from concept through construction, and requires collaboration with project teams. You will assist in drawings, site investigations, and field reviews.

A Bachelor’s in Civil/Architectural Engineering is required; an M.S. is a plus, and EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structures focus preferred).
Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects.
Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
Familiarity with RISA, SAP, RAM preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structures for diverse buildings, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and legacy systems.
Assist in preparing drawings and specifications.
