Job summary

TYLin Buildings is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team in Rochester, NY. You will work with the project team to design and analyze a wide range of building projects, including steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and older structural systems from concept to completion.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structures focus preferred), 0–3 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with REVIT Structure and analysis software such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (with a focus on structures preferred).
• Master's Degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in execution of commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to do the structural design and analysis for a wide range of building projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field review for projects under construction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
