Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Glen Mills, PA is seeking entry-level leaders who will coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities of our customer service team while participating in store management duties. This role offers exposure to values, measures, and operations across daytime and nighttime shifts.

You will lead a team of customer service associates, ensure resources and training, and collaborate with departments to keep Front End operations running smoothly, aiming to reduce customer wait times

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations between daytime and nighttime hours as a key leader and liaison among teams and departments throughout the store; responsible for opening/closing the store.
• Partner with department management to prioritize tasks and ensure front end operations run efficiently and manage checkout lanes to reduce wait times.
• Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Provide outstanding customer service to customers and employees, acting as a champion for Wegmans values and standards.
• React quickly to operational challenges in partnership with store leadership.
• Participate in and/or lead store projects to enhance company culture.
