Job summary

Wegmans is seeking an entry-level leader to coordinate and troubleshoot daily activities of customer service employees while participating in store management duties and projects. You will lead a team, ensure resources are available, and serve as a liaison across departments to maintain smooth front-end operations.

Ideal candidates have customer service experience and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in food service, grocery or retail setting.
• Ability to multi-task and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with computer systems and checkout equipment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage store operations across day/night hours, act as a key leader and liaison.
• Partner with department management to delegate tasks and ensure efficient Front End operations.
• Lead and develop a team of customer service employees to deliver excellent service.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold Wegmans values and standards.
• React quickly to operational issues with store leadership and participate in special projects across the store.
