SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a full-time, site-based role at a U.S. location.

The position requires relocation to a specific site with no relocation assistance provided; candidates must be willing to relocate and potentially travel up to 10% for training and site coverage. Responsibilities include performing field maintenance, safe work practices, equipment testing, and on-call support.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; Vocational/Technical School training a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out procedures on energized parts/systems.
• Basic knowledge of solar installation/plant.
• Familiarity with testing equipment.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification desired; stay current in trainings.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather; on-call readiness.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for training/site coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment across multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance with supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond on-call as directed for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
• Assist with process improvements and new technologies with EPC coordination.
