Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a permanent site-based role at a U.S. location. The position requires relocation to a site and entails on-site maintenance of solar equipment with supervision. On-call duties and up to 10% travel for training or site coverage are expected.

Responsibilities include safe equipment operation, basic testing and troubleshooting, documentation, and adherence to safety and quality procedures. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform LO/TO of energized parts.
• Willingness to relocate to any U.S. site and work on remote locations.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices on site.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance using monitoring programs.
• Document work accurately and complete reports.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Assist in process improvements with EPC management.
