Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a full-time, site-based role at a U.S. location. The position requires relocation to a specific site with no travel assignments and no relocation assistance provided.

You will perform field maintenance, follow safety practices, and learn to diagnose and repair solar equipment under supervision, with on-call duties as needed and standard site documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and perform effective Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stress safety as the most important function and ensure safe practices.
• Work safely and seek guidance on unfamiliar tasks.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
• Replace or repair solar parts and/or equipment.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Collaborate on process improvements with EPC management.
