Actalent is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Development Representative in the Columbia, MD area to build trusted relationships with engineering and sciences clients. You'll establish target accounts, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with recruiting to place top talent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales.
• Strong desire for a career in B2B/relationship-based sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, strong presentation skills, and professionalism.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a sales role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a talent solutions subject matter expert for the territory.
• Build target account lists and cultivate prospects using internal/external resources.
• Identify and manage new and existing customer relationships leveraging CRMs and networks.
• Conduct prepared face-to-face meetings with decision makers and qualify opportunities to create value.
• Increase sales and market share across assigned and new accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to ensure profitability and market alignment.
• Market resumes of ideal candidates within client accounts and maintain relationships.
• Lead client meetings and engage with the recruiting team to fulfill client needs.
