RR Donnelley & Sons seeks an entry-level Associate - Sales in Chicago, IL, to join a four-month Development Program that builds core skills in prospecting, cold calling, and account development. You will shadow seasoned reps, support sourcing and management of business, and participate in sales meetings to grow a book of business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, communications or related fields with an interest in sales.
• Excellent listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Motivation to learn and make data-driven decisions for customers.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Driven to succeed in the sales field.
• CRM experience preferred (e.g., Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform RRD's sales steps through training and observation.
• Learn and execute prospecting and cold calling to build new accounts.
• Shadow sales representatives and travel as needed.
• Assist senior reps in sourcing, securing and managing business.
• Attend internal and external sales meetings and maintain relationships.
• Build a sales funnel for post-training assignment.
• Participate in opportunities for growth through marketing materials.
• Perform related duties and projects as assigned.
