Job summary

Buckeye Broadband in Ohio is seeking an Apprentice Installation Technician. This entry‑level role installs, activates, converts and disconnects residential broadband, video, voice, Wi‑Fi and fiber services, following safety, quality and customer‑oriented standards.

You will perform installations at customer premises, educate customers on operations, document work, and ensure proper operation before leaving the site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior telecom experience is required; company provides installation training.
• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate residential broadband, video, voice, Wi‑Fi and fiber services per work orders.
• Install customer premise equipment and wiring, and secure labeling as required.
• Verify operation and educate customers on basic operations of installed services.
• Document work orders, maintain tools, and drive/operateCompany vehicle as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and escalate issues per policy.
