Job summary

AT&T is seeking Installation Technicians to install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customers’ homes and small businesses in Columbus, Ohio. You will work independently, meet new people, and be rewarded for delivering great service.

Typical day includes climbing ladders, wiring, and coordinating with customers; a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and a flexible schedule (evenings/weekends) are required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Requires valid state driver’s license.
• Able to lift and move up to 60 lbs; ladders weigh 50–60 lbs.
• Able to work in small spaces or aloft (up to 28 ft).
• Confirms flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Must qualify on pre‑employment assessments.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Install and activate high-speed broadband, Wi‑Fi, and voice services at customer homes and businesses.
• Work independently as a trusted expert and meet new people daily.
• Handle installation tasks such as new line installation, ladder work, and network activation.
