Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on our projects. You will work with the project team to understand the building process, run punch lists, and assist with self-perform work, reporting to project leadership.

Responsibilities include coordinating QA/QC, estimating support, and documentation, while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and Lean practices. Opportunity for growth to Project Engineer 2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate in QA/QC planning to ensure quality.
• Assist estimating and change management including quantity take-off.
• Work on site to support tasks like monitoring crew size and materials.
• Participate in punch lists, inspections, safety and quality reviews.
• Prepare and disseminate project documentation and reports.
