Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on projects. You will help with general construction management, self-perform work, punch lists, and documentation while learning JE Dunn’s best practices and Lean workflows.

You will work with the project team on site, coordinating with foremen and subcontractors, handling progress reporting, and supporting safety and quality initiatives as part of a growing construction career at JE

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Entry level construction experience

Responsibilities

Supports construction and field execution responsibilities for projects.
Implements and carries out facets of construction process including general construction management and self-perform work.
Participates in safety and quality plan adherence and documentation.
Assists with project QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
Learns estimating and change management processes and review of subcontractor proposals.
Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
Participates in punch lists, inspections, safety reviews and documentation preparation.
Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information; supports project meetings and reporting.
