Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction projects, learn the building process, and assist with general construction management, punch lists and self-perform work. The role focuses on delivering value through safety, quality, and Lean practices while supporting the project team on-site.

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in the company’s safety and quality plans and culture.
• Monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment on site.
• Prepare and disseminate project documentation and reports (daily/weekly) to support scheduling and QA/QC.
• Collaborate in project meetings and organize required documentation.
