Under supervision, you’ll perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and adapt to varying tasks across departments. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• 3+ years in the Aggregate Industry, preferred.
• Experience in Plant Operations and Maintenance is a plus.
• Safety-conscious with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operates production and plant-specific mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Uses SOPs to troubleshoot malfunctions or issues.
• Participates in production, loading, and shipping tasks.
• Under direct supervision, adjusts equipment to maximize production.
• Assist in repairs, including basic cutting and welding under supervision.
• Remove spilled material around conveyors using hand tools.
• Operate skid steers, backhoes, pavers, rollers, loaders, and water trucks as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance: greasing, lubricating, belt/bearing replacement, conveyor splicing.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections; maintain maintenance logs.
• Ensure work areas and machinery are clean and safe; support cross-departmental maintenance and housekeeping.
• Be flexible to take on additional tasks as needed to support operations and team needs.
