Martin Marietta is seeking a Utility Person to join our team. This role focuses on safe and efficient cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation. Responsibilities include greasing and lubricating equipment, housekeeping, and operating various machinery.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and motivated, with a High School Diploma or GED. Industry experience is preferred, and overtime including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the building materials industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on equipment and plant, including cutting and welding under supervision.
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain maintenance log.
• Operate skid steer, front end loader, and other tools to clean around equipment and maintain roadways.
• Operate a water truck to limit airborne dust.
• Participate in production, loading, shipping, and quality control.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe traffic flow at the site.
• Operate plant-specific mobile equipment safely as needed.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
