Job summary

BOK Financial Corporation invites applications for a Personal Banker in Denver. This entry-level role focuses on building client relationships through consultative conversations and cross-selling retail banking products.

You will participate in our 9-week Banking Navigator training to develop product knowledge, service skills, and confidence to excel. During training you may be assigned to different branches before permanent placement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of sales, retail, or customer service experience; college degree a plus or equivalent combo.
• Working knowledge of consumer financial products and retail banking services.
• Basic understanding of banking laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Effective consultative communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; follow procedures and escalation when needed.
• Knowledge of digital banking tools and self-service capabilities.
• Ability to learn and navigate multiple banking systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client experience to build, expand, and retain long-term client relationships.
• Open a full range of retail products for new and existing clients by making product recommendations.
• Educate clients about online banking, Bill Pay, e‑Statements, and mobile/ATM deposits.
• Resolve simple to moderate client problems while maintaining high client satisfaction.
• Provide teller transactions and seek opportunities to deepen client relationships.
• Comply with internal controls, audits, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in coaching and self-improvement to enhance product knowledge, systems knowledge, and sales skills.
