Job summary

Stanford Health Care in Dublin is seeking a Patient Access Representative I (VC), a part-time, onsite role focused on patient admissions and registration. You will determine insurance coverage and financial resources to pay for care, handle routine inquiries, and ensure billing/compliance documentation is complete.

As an entry-level team member, you’ll learn the duties on the job, meet weekly productivity KPIs, greet patients, and coordinate with PAS staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of progressively responsible related work experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and payer processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and begin the registration process.
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays at point of service.
• Assist with admissions documentation for billing and compliance.
• Escalate complex registrations to experienced staff when needed.
