Police & Fire Federal Credit Union in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Member Service Specialist I to provide outstanding service at the branch and develop member relationships through our Total Member Connect process. This entry-level role focuses on processing applications, resolving issues, and cross-selling credit union products while maintaining high integrity and efficiency.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma, strong communication, problem-solving, and comfort with technology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service with sales/production goals preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional member service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
• Embraces technology.
• Proficient with computers and multiple software systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Jack Henry Symitar/Episys, Meridian Link).

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Credit Union's commitment to members and leads by example.
• Deliver superior member service with friendly, professional interactions.
• Process memberships, loans, resolve account issues, and handle cash at window/ITM.
• Ensure member information is secure and protected.
• Cross-sell products using the 5 Step TMC process.
• Use resources to handle inquiries efficiently and complete tasks.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support proper staffing.
• Make a positive first impression with members, coworkers and supervisors.
• Assist in ITMs, service window, or sales desk as needed.
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace.
