Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an entry-level Associate Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and service of medical systems in the Central Region. You will learn from experienced technicians, troubleshoot, perform repairs, and contribute to customer satisfaction in a hands-on, customer-facing role.

Based near Columbus, OH, you will travel up to 75% of the time, receive structured training and mentorship, and progress toward independent field service responsibilities

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical diploma in electronics, biomedical engineering, life sciences, or a related field.
• Equivalent combinations demonstrating required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Act as company liaison with customers for administrative and technical matters.
• Address problems of diverse scope as a Field Service Technician.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions within defined practices and policies.
• Perform service activities including maintenance, modification, recalibration, and repair of Boston Scientific's Capital Equipment and accessories both in the field and in-house, as well as third‑party capital equipment.
• Report all service activities using dedicated forms.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with BSC equipment and service.
• Adhere to applicable standard operating procedures to meet quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
