Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and repair medical systems across the Northeast region. This remote, field-based role requires travel to customer sites and strong problem-solving capabilities with healthcare teams.

You will support Cardiovascular devices in the field, train staff, and document service events while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related field service, electronics, or biomedical equipment experience or equivalent education.
• Travel to customer sites is required (about 75%).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment.
• Train medical staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
• Deliver technical support for field escalations, customer concerns, and warranty inquiries.
• Manage routine and emergency service requests within the assigned territory.
• Document service events and system updates using internal tools.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate on projects, events, or cross-functional tasks as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and leadership regarding service activities.
