Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and service cardiovascular medical systems across the Northwest region. This remote, field-based role covers hospitals and clinics, with a home office and travel to customer sites.

You will train staff, troubleshoot complex equipment, document service events, and collaborate with sales and quality teams. A technical degree and at least one year of field service experience, plus a willingness to travel up to 75%, are

Qualifications

1 year of field service or related experience with technical education.
Strong understanding of analog and digital electronic systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time and work independently.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable service vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of medical systems and equipment.
Train and educate medical staff on equipment use, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
Deliver technical support for field escalations, customer concerns, and warranty inquiries.
Manage routine and emergency service requests within your assigned territory.
Accurately document service events, complaint information, and system updates using internal tools.
Adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in projects, event support, or cross-functional tasks as required by the business unit.
Maintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, and leadership regarding service activities and priorities.
